Preparing for our own death can be a rich experience and can diminish anxiety. Planning the celebration of life for those in your life is an act that brings up many emotions and can help us process our grief. I offer support and guidance to those who wish to plan their own funerals, at any stage in life, or to those who wish to create a meaningful event for someone else. I am available to officiate at a celebration of life serve as well.
A few years ago, I planned my own funeral as a book with an accompanying soundtrack. It took a few weeks to complete and was a transformative experience. I plan to create a new funeral book again when I turn 60. It was a wonderful act of reflection and helped me to face my own mortality head on.

Sabrina is Gone is a meditation on the impermanence of life. It is a funeral book.
What is the purpose of this funeral book? Perhaps it is a funeral for unconscious living. Or it is an exploration of the absurd distinction between life and death. Or it is an exploration of the illusion that I exist/ed separate from you.
It is a beautiful joke. It is a sincere offering.
